Moody Elementary School

The faculty and staff at Moody Elementary School believe that learning is a lifelong process. Students will be provided with learning opportunities that develop values, attitudes, skills, knowledge, independence, self-discipline, and character. Each student is a valued individual who can learn, achieve, share, and succeed. Students will demonstrate functional skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening, mathematics, science, social studies, and the arts. Every student will be given the learning tools to succeed in the 21st century. Students will utilize technology tools to access, process, and present information through a variety of resources. Critical thinking, problem solving, and creative expression skills will be promoted. The importance of good health habits and motor skills must be instilled by the classroom teacher, counselor, and physical education teacher. The 2 administrators and 54 teachers make sure these goals are achieved on a daily basis.
