Williams Elementary and Middle

Williams Elementary and Middle School recognize that the purpose of the school is to provide for the mental, physical, emotional and social development of each child so that growth and development may be to the fullest potential. The school program will encourage self-discipline, cooperation, courtesy, and good citizenship.

The Williams faculty believes that
the instructional program should be
designed to provide a variety of experiences in order to meet the individual needs of children. To achieve this, the faculty and staff use a variety of instructional methods. They realize that students have different learning styles. Therefore, teachers present lessons so that auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learners can succeed.

The faculty believes that learning activities should be planned according to a prescribed sequential program, subject to the readiness, ability, and interest of the child. The staff believes that an individuals needs are met by using the techniques of small group, large group, and one-to-one instruction.
